Removable Prosthetics Dental Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced removable prosthetics dental technician for our metals department.  This is an in-house position that includes an excellent benefit package.  We are a well-established, growing partial and denture laboratory in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The right candidate for this position possesses strong attention to detail, along with artistic and technical skills in the fabrication of metal frameworks.  Knowledge and experience with digital dentistry technology is beneficial.  Dental Implant expertise is preferred, but not required.  Potential opportunity for advancement to leadership positions with possession of strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with dental professionals on treatment planning and case management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Read prescriptions with an understanding of dental terminology provided by dental professionals
• Ability to communicate with dentists and prosthodontists about detailed case instructions
• Planning and timing of workflow in Partial Department
• Survey and design frameworks
• Analyze digital scans and designs
• Communicate and collaborate with team members
• Assure quality control in fit, function, and aesthetics of removable prosthetics
• Ability to perform repairs and adjustments as requested by doctors
• Maintain balance of efficiency and high quality standards in all daily processes
