We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Lumident Dental Lab located in Indianapolis, IN, for a full time Dental Lab Technician II (Denture Setup).
The regular hours for this position are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins
- Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship
- Post dam upper models
- Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship
- Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade
- Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics. If setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up. Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
- Small machinery
- Hand-pieces
- Chemicals
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
