We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Nelson Dental Lab in Rochester Hills, MI, for a Dental Lab Technician III.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Perform primary and secondary steps of implant fabrication.
- Load impressions with implant parts.
- Check model work for proper analog placement.
- Order implant parts for cases, as needed.
- Adjust abutments with a hand piece and anodize abutments, as required.
- Case plan for implant cases with doctors and internal team members.
- Design CAD/CAM abutments and bars on in-house systems, Nobel, Straumann, and 3Shape.
- Maintain implant parts inventory.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions.
- High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- This technician has a minimum of 5 years of experience and is skilled in one or more of the skills associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
- Hand-piece / instruments.
- Additional related materials or equipment, as required.
- Personal protective equipment, as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to life up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
- Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.
- Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color.
