GKY is a small business-owned dental laboratory that places an emphasis on providing thorough and highly personalized dental services and products to clinicians. The products and services we offer are crowns, bridges, metal-free restorations, removables, implants, guided surgeries, and shade matching. We are dedicated to helping smaller dental practices have their needs met through creating and perfecting these products and providing these services.

  • We are looking for a Ceramist in our Porcelain Department. This person will be expected to do 10-15 cases per day.

    The REQUIRED skills and qualifications we are seeking:

    • Be able to understand and read English fluently & Bilingual in Japanese and/or languages is a plus
    • High school diploma and above
    • Authorization to work in the United States
    • Work experience in the Dental Field
    • Knowledge of dental terminology
    • 2-10 years working in a dental laboratory
    • Experience working as a Dental Technician is a plus

A tryout will be required during interview process. This tryout will assess the candidate's skills and experience. The tryout consists of doing anterior 8 & 9 and 1 molar posteror PFM, with the process of porcelain build-up to shaping to glazing and finishing. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Expertly perform porcelain layering to achieve natural and aesthetic results.
  • Create Emax and feldspathic veneers with precision and artistry.
  • Perform high-quality ceramic work for comprehensive smile makeovers.
  • Apply advanced staining and glazing techniques to match natural dentition.
